The Black Knight is the darkest thing in leopard gecko keeping — a selectively bred melanistic line in which the familiar yellow ground colour is replaced by deep charcoal to near-solid black. This is a true collector’s morph: line-bred over many generations, still uncommon in European collections, and instantly recognisable on sight. Black Knight Care Basics
Care is identical to any leopard gecko: a low, long terrarium with a heat-mat or halogen warm end, three hides (warm, cool, humid), and calcium-dusted livefood two to four times a week depending on age. Melanistic geckos can be slightly more heat-shy under bright light, so provide dense cover on the warm side. Avoid cohabiting adults.
