Description

Patternless T+ Childrens — Antaresia childreni, the definitive easy python: around a metre long, subtly speckled, iridescent in good light, and docile enough to trust with careful kids (though it’s actually named for naturalist J.G. Children). Marble, T+, patternless and chimera project animals are among the most exciting morph work happening in the genus — this listing’s genetics are exactly as titled.

Care Basics

Two hides, a water bowl, a thermostat-controlled warm end — done. Juveniles eat a pinkie weekly; adults an adult mouse every 10–14 days. The subtle pattern deepens into purplish-brown with age and takes on an oil-slick sheen in sunlight. Handle calmly a couple of times a week and the species stays puppy-tame for decades.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are marble and T+ morphs?

Marble scrambles the pattern into high-contrast swirls; T+ lightens pigment to caramel tones. Both are established recessive lines in European Antaresia breeding.

Is this a good first snake?

It’s the textbook answer — small, hardy, long-lived and gentle.
